Website Speed Optimization and Cache Plugins

Best result of site load speed optimization displays by W3 Total Cache plugin.
- Go to Performance > General Settings
- At the end of this page you'll find "Import / Export Settings" section which you can import "w3-total-cache-config.json" file. The mentioned file is available via Package Content Folder > IncreasePageSpeed

Sometimes we used W3 Total Cache + Cloudflare or King Composer's Cache + Cloudflare, but it displays not so high speed of page loading, but more points in website speed test services like https://gtmetrix.com or https://www.webpagetest.org or https://tools.pingdom.com. But these services are out of date a little bit. Because now you can use HTTP/2 protocol that let your website loads faster, because unlimited files can loads in parallel mode, instead of classic HTTP protocol, when files loads consistently.

Information below is out of date if you are using HTTPS and HTTP/2 protocols.

These 2 easy steps let you increase page load speed.

1) Best way to increase website loading speed is CDN (Content Delivery Network). For example, cloudflare.com, it's free for use. Go to cloudflare.com and set your website, it's free. If you dont want to use CDN, you can use only cache plugin. Settings for cloudflare below:

W3 Total Cache with Cloudflare also displays good results. If you would like to setup it:

- Go to Performance > General Settings
- At the end of this page you'll find "Import / Export Settings" section which you can import "w3-total-cache-config.json" file. The mentioned file is available via Package Content Folder > IncreasePageSpeed

Also I've been tested the theme compatibility with other cache plugins:

  1. WP Super Cache - set it like that
  2. WP Rocket width some scripts to minifying exclusions:
    /wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.revolution.min.js
    /wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.tools.min.js

Page Options

At the right of the page you can find:

  • customize the header and footer of the site,
  • page layout (full-size or limited in width),
  • enable / disable sidebars,
  • choose a slider or image to display in the header of the page.

Footer & Header

You can edit footer section or create a new one at Composer Block plugin. These footer is editable with King Composer

You can set footer and header that you want to display on Theme Options -> General Settings. Individual header and footer for any page you can set in right setion Page Layout.

Favicon

Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Site Identity.

How to change HTTP to HTTPS

It is better to initially install WordPress on a domain with HTTPS, but if you did not, then you need to switch from the old version of HTTP correctly.

  1. Go to Theme Options -> Import / Export and export the options for the theme options
  2.
  3. Delete the .htaccess file in the website folder
  4.
  5. Export the SQL file of your database, make a backup copy
  6.
  7. Find and Replace "http://YourDomain.com" to "https://YourDomain.com" in the SQL file
  8.
  9. Import the SQL file into your database
  10.
  11. Go to https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php and click Save button
  12.
  13. Go to Theme Options -> Import / Export and import the options options for the theme
  14.
  15. Everything is done!
  16.

Also you can write to .htaccess:

RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]

  • * Make sure your question is a valid Theme Issue and not a customization request.
  • * Make sure you have read through the documentation and any related video guides before asking support on how to accomplish a task.
  • * Make sure to double check the theme FAQs.
  • * Try disabling any active plugins to make sure there isn't a conflict with a plugin. And if there is this way you can let us know.
  • * If you have customized your theme and now have an issue, back-track to make sure you didn't make a mistake. If you have made changes and can't find the issue, please provide us with your changelog.
  • * Almost 80% of the time we find that the solution to people's issues can be solved with a simple "Google Search". You might want to try that before seeking support. You might be able to fix the issue yourself much quicker than we can respond to your request.
  • * Make sure to state the name of the theme you are having issues with when requesting support via ThemeForest.
